OUR STORY

Our family is Anthony, Janel & Benjamin Murphy

On Nov. 8, 2018 the town of Paradise, CA was destroyed by fire, including our family home. We found ourselves homeless and very unsure of our future. After we lost our home in the fire, we starting looking for our new home. We always knew our small Paradise home was just a “starter home.” We were looking for a larger property to have some space and a few animals. We found a 30 acre property ready to build on. With this much land we needed a some animals to keep the property cleared and managed during the summer. We started with just two sheep and it all grew from there. Farm babies arrived each spring along the way. Ducks, chickens, guineas, sheep, goats, dog, and donkey have all come to join the Murphy Family Farm. We now spend our time on a beautiful property amongst our family.

We have lived in an RV trailer for almost 7 years waiting to build a new home on this property. The summer of 2025 we have been able to break ground and start a new foundation for our future home. We are thankful for where we are now and how we have created a new space for our family.
